The illuminated exercise track at the Old Harbor is 1.5 km long and runs through protected spruce forest. The track is used for running and walking even in winter. At the southern end of the track, there is a small parking lot and an outdoor gym.

Kittholmen's beach is located in the Old Harbor Bay near the center of Jakobstad. The water depth at Kittholmen's beach gradually becomes deeper, reaching about 3 - 4 meters deep approximately 30 meters from the shore. There is a diving tower at the beach that is currently being renovated.
In the Old Harbor, there is also Kittholmen's dog park, an enclosed area where dogs can run free and socialize with other dogs. The park is divided into a section for larger dogs and a section for smaller dogs.
The municipal rug washing facility in the Old Harbor is open from May to September. Here, you can wash and mangle rugs of all sizes!
The FBK field can be rented from the Culture Office in Jakobstad. On the field, there is a track for enthusiasts of remote-controlled cars. Contact Robbis Hobby Shop if you want to try it out.
The dog swimming beach is located in the Old Harbor between Vega Skeppsgården and the American Car Club. Follow the path between the fence and the flagpoles, and you'll find the beach on the left. At the beach, there is a waste bin for dog waste and a sign with rules. Remember to follow the rules and respect other visitors. The owner is always responsible for their dog. Avoid bringing your own toys to the beach, as fights may occur between the dogs over them.
The meat processing company Snellman in Jakobstad has donated a play and exercise park to the city of Jakobstad. The park is located near Kittholmen's beach in the Old Harbor. It is intended to be useful and enjoyable for Jakobstad residents of all ages. The main attraction is a large play ship designed to entertain children and young people. The idea is that adults can use the exercise equipment nearby while supervising their children
