Living maritime history at the Shipyard in Jakobstad

Until the summer of 2026, the project “Living maritime history at the Shipyard in Jakobstad” will be ongoing. Focusing on our tangible and intangible maritime heritage, a visit at the Shipyard will from now on be more informative and interactive for both young and old.

The project will be carried out with Jakobstad’s museum as the project owner and Vega-stiftelsen and Jakobstads Gamla Hamn Ab as project actors. The project is co-funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, through Leader-support from Aktion Österbotten.
